Map of Dear Esther
Comissioned by Curve Digital for The Chinese Room and their re-release of BAFTA-winning game, Dear Esther. I was tasked with charting the island using architectural techniques. The resulting map was launched as A3 poster prints at the Barbican Dear Esther Live concert where it sold out shortly after.
The poster print is not just a map but also a game, filled with puzzles and riddles for viewers to solve. I designed these games using mapping language and worked on them in close collaboration with Daniel Pinchbeck and Jessica Curry.
